Ancestral Peace

3 Sacred Rituals

According to the Garuda Purana, performing Shradh Karma in the holy city releases the soul from the cycle of birth and death. We offer three specific types of Pind Daan in Kashi based on your family's needs.

Pind Daan

The primary ritual offering 'Pind' (rice balls mixed with sesame and honey) to satisfy the hunger of ancestors.

For Natural Death

Tripindi Shradh

A powerful remedy for 'Pitra Dosh'. It pacifies the souls of ancestors from the last three generations (Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather).

For Pitra Dosh

Narayana Bali

Essential for 'Akala Mrityu' (Unnatural death like accidents). This ritual liberates the soul from the wandering 'Pret Yoni'.

The Process of Pind Daan in Kashi

Performing Pind Daan in Kashi is a systematic process that requires purity and adherence to Vedic timing (Muhurat). Here is how our Pandits guide you through the ritual:

  • Sankalp (Vow): The ritual begins at Hanuman Ghat with a 'Sankalp', where you declare your name, Gotra, and the names of the ancestors you wish to honor. This connects your intent with the divine.
  • Pind Daan (Offering): You will prepare 16 or more balls of rice, sesame seeds, and milk. These 'Pinds' represent the physical body of the ancestors. Offering them with specific mantras satisfies their unfulfilled desires.
  • Tarpan (Water Offering): Using Kusha grass and black sesame seeds, water is offered to the Devas, Rishis, and Pitras. This act cools the soul of the departed.
  • Brahman Bhoj: The ritual concludes with offering food and Dakshina to the Brahmins, which is believed to reach the ancestors directly.

The entire procedure takes about 2 to 3 hours. We recommend wearing traditional white clothes (Dhoti-Kurta for men, Saree/Suit for women) to maintain the sanctity of the Vidhi.
